We have five different roles that offer support to our partners and teams of volunteers
AREA FACILITATOR
Have you management skills and are willing to lead a group of projects? You will coordinate local fund raising efforts, volunteer training, and ensure child protection policies are maintained.

PROJECT LEADER
Could you manage a team of volunteers at a school or project? You will research the needs of the children, maintain data, report progress and support your team of volunteer tutors.

ACADEMIC ADVISOR

TRAUMA COUNSELOR
Our staff and tutors often hear distressing stories. CURRICULUM TRAINER
You will have teaching or training experience and will assist our staff trainers in training our volunteer tutors. I WANT TO ASSIST WITH ADMINISTRATION
Are you Computer literate and have access to a computer? You could give much needed help to our staff and volunteers in your area. The task facing our staff and volunteers is huge, the number of hurting children is overwhelming, we need to maintain accurate records and all about the children we serve.

I WANT TO INSPIRE SUPPORT
CHURCH REPRESENTATIVE
Are you a good communicator, respected by the local church members, and willing to share the needs of Open Schools? You will communicate news items and prayer requests. In Africa, you will also bring attention to volunteer vacancies. We need the help of the local church as we reach out to hurting children.

SCHOOL REPRESENTATIVE
Are you a retired or former teacher willing to visit schools and tell children about our work? We want to give more affluent children the opportunity to hear about the difficulties that marginalised children experience. And then to give them the opportunity to link with a “school-in-a-bag” group and support this work financially. We provide all the materials you need.

PRAYER GROUP LEADER
Could you encourage and equip Christians in your local area to pray for the work of Open Schools? The task facing our staff and volunteers is huge, the number of hurting children is overwhelming, prayer is key as we seek God’s help.
